The Director of Operations role will oversee the Baylor University Medical Center operational efficiency plan, which coordinates our collective efforts as a hospital to make sure our processes and outcomes create value for our patients, employees and providers. Qualified candidate must have a strong hospital operations skillset, along with the ability to present and influence within all levels of a highly complex urban level 1 trauma center. Core to the success of this role will be superior project management skills.
The Director of Operations will be accountable to the executive team for project progress, status and tracking and outcomes. This role will interface within all departments of the hospital to insure alignment with project goals and timelines. This individual will provide support to senior leadership as a consultant for departmental goals, policies and procedures.
Possess superior project management skills obtained in an acute care environment.
Have a professional track record of effectively leading through influence and consensus building within all levels of the organization.
Have a strong understanding of operational challenges facing healthcare and the ability to see solutions, drive change and improved operational outcomes.
Be highly competent with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
