Baylor Annette C. and Harold C. Simmons Transplant Institute, which includes Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth, is looking for an experienced multi-organ abdominal transplant surgeon. Baylor-Simmons Transplant Institute is a large volume transplant center performing approximately 150 adult liver transplants and 230 adult kidney transplants annually in addition to kidney-pancreas transplants, living donor liver transplants and hepatobiliary surgery. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Salary are commensurate with experience and credentials. Candidate must be American Board of Surgery certified/eligible and have completed an ASTS fellowship. Experience in multi-organ transplant including liver, kidney, pancreas, and living donor nephrectomy is required with a specific interest in kidney and kidney/pancreas. In addition, the candidate will actively participate in the education of transplant surgery fellows, residents, medical students and transplant advanced care providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants).
