Serves as the Financial Officer for the System Clinical Departments/Clinical Service Lines for providing direct, proactive financial support in terms of budget development, performance analyses and operational/strategic financial analyses. The scope of this position extends across campuses while serving as the financial lead on both service line and system wide projects. This position also has responsibilities in providing system wide financial reporting and analysis to enable service lines and clinical enterprise, in general, to make timely and informed financially sound decisions across the health system.
Position works extensively with senior leadership providing system level analysis towards developing campus wide initiatives. Works directly with campus leadership understanding various service line initiatives as well as providing input from individual service line in addition to supporting annual budget and Long Range Financial Model process.
Supervises direct report(s) and provides education and career development, as well as annual evaluations. These reporting relationships cover multiple campus locations.
Performs duties to support system goals and objectives to provide quality care and patient satisfaction.
Works under the general direction of the Financial Director OR CFO for the System Clinical Departments/Institues/Clinical Service Lines with a matrix reporting structure to the Vice President and Department Chairperson of the respective System Clinical Departments/Institutes/Clinical Service Lines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s degree finance, business administration, accounting or related business field required. Minimum of five years of accounting or relevant financial experience required, with at least three years in Healthcare.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Minimum of seven years work experience in finance analysis or accounting required, with at least five years in Healthcare.
Professional certification preferred.
Experience in providing financial analysis of healthcare operations required.
Experience in an integrated delivery system with managed care physician practices preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Position may involve driving as required based on organizational structure.
