Is responsible to the Vice President to assist with daily operation, planning and coordination of patient care within assigned departments. Interfaces with hospital departments, medical staff and community as a representative of Pulmonary. Assures services are provided in compliance with hospital, Nursing and Department standards, policies and procedures. Provides direction to ensure high quality programs and care in a cost effective manner.
Current RCP license in the State of Texas required.
Accreditation from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Current CPR license from the American Heart Association,
Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy School. Desire RRT or other RRT eligible, or BS in a related area.
A minimum of two (2) years clinical experience. Experience desired: Staffing and scheduling management, staff development, personnel management and financial budget management.
