Job Title: Implementation Manager - Geisinger Health Plan Location: Danville, PA Work Type: Full Time JOB SUMMARY: Manages the interdepartmental process of planning, facilitating and on-boarding of key Health Plan initiatives according to stringent deadlines and defined budget parameters. Critical to this role is the ability to engage and influence senior executives, both internal and external. This position will acquire and leverage necessary resources, then coordinate the corresponding efforts of team members across departments to deliver results according to plan. Also, will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of strategic partnerships inside and outside the state of Pennsylvania, as well as new Health Plan products and benefit revisions for existing Health Plan product lines.

Ability to interpret communication styles of team members and adapt to broad spectrums of disciplines.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree required. 5 years of experience in health care, managed care, health insurance, health related organization or project management/implementation required. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is required within 18 months of hire. Experience using project management software is preferred. Experience in health care or health payer systems is preferred.
